Blurred vision is an important symptom of astigmatism. The blurring can take place in far or near distances or at both of them. Distortion in a part of the image seen and sensitivity to light are the other common symptoms.
Dry and tired eyes, the result of strain caused while reading or trying to focus properly, is an important sign of astigmatism. People with astigmatic eyes will have constant headaches resulting out of the struggle to focus properly.
