The Cost
Cost is always difficult to summarize, as different optical stores and clinics each charge different prices and the price range does vary dramatically from state to state. The question of cost is also dependent upon the kind of lens you require, your prescription and the number of lenses you wish to buy. On average, corneal reshaping costs about $1,000 to $1,500 for both eyes, plus the cost of replacement lenses in subsequent years. Ortho-k and CRT are not normally completely covered by vision care insurance plans and you should expect to pay most of the price yourself.
