Ophthalmologists usually advice against the use of contact lens during blepharitis. This is mainly due to the build up of oil and white flakes. It is better to avoid contact lens during the treatment period. If necessary, RGP contact lenses are used instead of soft contact lenses during the treatment period. It is seen that wearing of contact lens during blepharitis causes some complications to certain people.
